AIRPLANE:
Since ancient times man was totally fascinated by the chance of flying like birds do, being able to make an machine, heavier than air, fly for the first time only in 1903, thanks to the Wright brothers.
Even though the technological progress in the aircraft construction advanced incessantly until nowadays, the basic design is still largely experimental. The aim of this work is to point out the acting forces during the flight, explaining in particular the physical phenomena that are the base of lift.
